SOULSPEAK WITH AMY MILLER (Broadway Actress, Founder & Artistic Director of Transcendence Theater)

"I've unlearned the blocks in our phsyches that tell us that things are impossible. I've learned that there is an incredible supportive universe around us and that impossible dreams can come true. Sometimes it takes a bit of unlearning and releasing those blocks that hold us back as human beings. If you can transcend those blocks you can achieve those seemingly impossible feats. You can create miracles in your own life and in the lives of others."

AMY MILLER
Sonoma, California

She is the Founder and Artistic Director at Transcendence Theatre Company,  a group of professional actors from New York and Los Angeles that specializes in producing broadway musicals 'under the stars' along with community service , engagement and educational programs. Being a fan of Broadway music growing up I am so excited to witness this project being manifested. Their core message: "IF WE BUILD IT THEY WILL COME" Such an amazing troupe of visionaries led by an amazing woman. So blessed and honored to share this inspiring conversation with Amy to the world today.

WHO IS AMY MILLER?
I'm an actress, I'm a singer and a dancer. I'm originally from Cincinnati Ohio. My passion is in Broadway musicals and musical theater. I spent a lot of time in New York City and around the United States performing. I was in the production of 42nd Street. I did over 800 performances of that. I spent a lot of time in regional theaters. The past number of years I lived in Los Angeles where I've been immersed in the TV and film world. Recently, over the past 3 and a half years we've been working on building the Transcendence Theater Company which is taking off in Sonoma, California, the heart of wine country in Northern California. We're prepping for our first season.

Where I'm at in my journey is really bringing the vision that I have of this company to life in order to make an indelible mark in the world and touch millions of people's lives through the immense power of theater.

IS THIS SOMETHING YOU DREAMED OF AS A CHILD?
Oh yes... I've been in love with musicals and dancing and singing since I was 5 years old. My grandparents took me to the production of Music Man and I fell in love with it ever since. I always wanted to be a performer. I always wanted to dance on Broadway. That dream came true in 2004.

I always imagined having a theater company. I don't think I imagined it when I was a little kid but here I am just building something... I believe that life is a work of art. It's incredible to build a whole company and a whole life around theater. It's been a passion ever since I was a little kid. I'm very lucky to be living that dream.

TELL ME ABOUT THE BEGINNINGS OF TRANSCENDENCE THEATER.
It's a very exciting story about having a dream and going after it.  I had a vision... I think the year was about 2008.  I had a great career in dancing, and doing musical theater, television and commercials. But I really was searching for a stronger way to use my art and move a community. So I had an idea and a vision for a theater company. One that was going to specialize in musicals in an outdoor setting and also one that was gonna create a healthy company culture for artists to be a part of. So I had this vision. I actually put it on a videotape and I shared it with five of my closest friends. Everyone was like "This is amazing. It's like twenty years to build and ten years to find."

I told the townspeople about it and they actually gave us the space for free which started our company in 2009 with a four month community service project and  health project in Mexico and from there we went on a cross country research tour looking for a location where we wanted o build our company in. We settled in Sonoma California and then it took about nine months to a year of doing research in that area.

I found that many of outdoor theaters actually started in state parks. Which started us looking into state parks. We found that 70 of them was on the closure list due to California State budget cut. So we hopped on a car, my fellow producers and I, to find land for our theater. Jack London State Park was the perfect location for us to build this company so we spoke with the people involved in the park system telling them an innovative idea that can help bring more people into the park and give them incredible experiences in it. We produced a concert last October that was completely sold out. We just got our contract to produce a summer season and here I am now just relocated from Los Angeles to Sonoma to bring this dream to life. It's just been an incredible kind of serendipitous and synchronistic journey that continues  to grow. That's how Transcendence Theater came into being.

I LOVE YOUR OBJECTIVE: "TO CREATE MOMENTS OF TRANSCENDENCE IN PEOPLE'S LIVES BOTH ON AND OFF STAGE".
There is a moment in dance I call 'transcendence'. Especially when I started dancing in college. It was this moment when I felt completely free. I describe it to people as some sort of 'runner's high' or what sports player call 'in the zone'. It's the state of feeling most alive. I would find these moments when I was performing on stage but then I would find them off-stage too... In moments of being with friends and just off stage moments of bringing community out together and singing. It's just these incredible states, these heightened feelings of being alive and heightened feelings of love.

What we were aspiring to do is to create these moments that would in some ways explode people's hearts and make them feel more alive. That's what the feeling 'transcendence'  is about. The word itself means excelling and passing or going beyond the usual limits. That's what we're trying to do with our company and our lives. That's why I'm grateful that the vision has led us to actually being able to play a part in saving a state park from closure--That our art can play a  part in that. That's transcendent to me. It's really beautiful. It's awesome. That's what transcendence means.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
What motivates me is being inspired by everyone that surrounds me. My family, my friends... The inspiration and drive to connect to many many people in a transcendent way. I'm very inspired by making people incredibly happy, inspiring people to live their dreams. I'm really motivated by making an indelible mark in people's lives. in large ways and in small ways. Although it's hard work building dreams and bringing things to life at the root I'm motivated by this capacity for wanting to connect to human beings in incredible ways. All of that motivates me.

YOUR MAJOR INFLUENCES & MENTORS.
My grandparents were huge inspirations. They lived next door when I was growing up as a child. to live by. And they always taught me lessons to live by. They inspired me just like my parents had. They told me that anything was possible. That you could live your dreams.

My other mentor was my dance teacher as well as my high school drama teacher. I'm still friends with them to ths very day. And they've always inspired me.

In terms of theater influence there was a man named Harold Clurman who was a legendary director of the group theater in the 1930s. It was a very innovative theater troupe that left a legacy on American Theater. I've really immersed myself in the studies of his work as well as writings because he developed a group theater and that really inspired me to bring the transcendence company to life.

Those were some of my very big mentors. But there are many other people in this world... from the success world its Tony Robbins , in the Nutrion world  David Wolfe, that have really really inspired me along my journey.

One more that I wanted to add is  Success Ultra Now ... Michael Mackintosh and Nick Good have really inspired me. They do wonderful work. I've really been immersed in their work for the past number of years and they work closely with David Wolfe.

ANY REGRETS?
I looked at this question and said, well I don't have any regrets. But if I had to think about it closely the one is regretting just not to enjoy every single moment. There are moments in this fast paced world that we don't  surrender to the peace of life. Sometimes, especially being an over achiever, and especially when I'm trying to build things I just regret that I didn't take time to breathe and smell the roses. But I'm getting much better than that and just kind of enjoying the magic of life and surrendering to the process as the dreams come to fulfillment.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM YOURSELF FROM THIS EXPERIENCE?
I learned this, and definitely want to share this with everyone... To believe in the power of your own imagination. To have ideals and dreams and to work towards them. Often we think that things are impossible. There are times in my life that I thought that things were impossible too but sometimes it could start with just writing an idea down on a notebook or paper and you can believe that it can come true and work towards that. That's what I've learned from this whole experience. There is no dream that's too big. Pick dreams that are gonna push you to your full potential. I've learned to continue riding that journey so you can make an enormous contribution into the world. I just believe that inside of us we are powerful beyond measure. As I've synchronistically watch this journey unfold and realized all that within myself. It's been an incredible journey for me.

WHAT HAVE YOU UNLEARNED?
I've unlearned the blocks in our phsyches that tell us that things are impossible. I've learned that there is an incredible supportive universe around us and that impossible dreams can come true. Sometimes it takes a bit of unlearning and releasing those blocks that hold us back as human beings. If you can transcend those blocks you can achieve those seemingly impossible feats. You can create miracles in your own life and in the lives of others. It's just been incredible how much you can give to the world if you release those blocks within yourself.

WHAT KEEPS YOU CENTERED & BALANCED?
I spend a lot of time in Nature. I have a very strong meditation practice. I'm very much into good food and optimum nutrition. I found that all of those things keep me in balance as well as really establishing close relationships with my friends and with my family, and always knowing that that's of utmost importance as I work towards building this.

Some of the wonderful ways to relax besides working out and everything is dance. Dance keeps me very focused and very ground. I think the people around me in my life...My family, my friends, my husband... They keep me balanced and they keep my heart in the right place.

IF YOU WERE A SUPER HERO AND COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT THE WORLD WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I would love to remove fear. I think fear stands in many of our ways. It's good in some ways but if you can remove the fact that things are impossible and transcend that we would be able to step into our own and work towards things that are seemingly impossible. Especially in our world... there are so many people that tell other people they can't do something instead of encouraging people that anything and everything is possible in life and people can live their dreams and make enormous contributions to the world. I would change we would have a more encouraging society around us, to really help people live their dreams. Being around an encouraging environment will encourage people to go after the seemingly impossible. Impossible dreams can come true.

YOU'RE FACE TO FACE WITH YOURSELF AS AN 10 YEAR OLD, WHAT ONE PIECE OF ADVISE WILL YOU GIVE YOURSELF?
If I was looking at myself as a 10 year the one piece of advice I would give is to enjoy  the adventure of life. To really enjoy the entire journey just as much as you enjoy the destination. To know that it may have highs and it may have lows but it's all an incredible adventure. Your life is a work of art. Just enjoy the moment. Be present and LOVE everyday. Love life, love the people around you, love your dreams, love your goals love every single second of the day because every single second is the best ever.

WHAT IS LOVE?
My favorite definition comes from a place I love, Hawaii. ALOHA means "Love is to share in the happiness of the breathe of life." To me that's what it is. Sharing everything in life.

WHAT'S IN THE PIPELINE?
The Transcendence Theater is launching their inaugural season this summer. It's very exciting. It'splaying a part in preserving Jack London State Park and Jack London was one the great  adventurers and dreamers of our time. We're producing a summer theater festival that's gonna include 4 Broadway Under the Stars concerts. Having performers from Broadway and Hollywood come to sing and dance and open our theater. There's a total of 14 nights of performances , Broadway tunes... Our festival is also going to include a number of community service projects that we're working on as well as a children's theater camp. It's gonna be a very big summer for me. I'm very excited and hope to inspire over 10,000 people's lives this season.

YOUR ONE MESSAGE TO THE WORLD.
Dream the impossible dream. Keep working towards ways to make an indelible mark on the world and touch many people's lives.

Dream the impossible dream because all things are possible.

Silence is Abundance

In every chance that you are called by silence, choose it.
Allow yourself to bask in that luxury.
Silence is abundance. Let it cleanse you like water.
Let the mud settle.
Let your soul rise. Heal from it.

The Most Important Conversations

There is a communication that goes on within us and around us, connecting body and mind, heart and universe...

These are the most important conversations in life and if there is no silence will never hear them.
Silence is essential to unraveling the mysteries and bridging the gaps.

The Gift of Responsibility

I learned that when we are responsible for our thoughts there is no jealousy, when we are responsible for our actions there is no guilt, and when we are responsible for our lives, there is no blame. Taking full responsibility is not easy but it is a powerful gift that we can give to ourselves and to our hearts.

Do you know how special you are?

Do you know how special you are? You are so special that you have the power to change and the power to grow. You are so special that you have to power to build and rebuild your life as you please.

You are so special that you have the choice....

You can make your dreams come true. Just put these thoughts into action, and you're all set.

Everything you need is in this present moment, if you can look at life with the eyes of a child.

When it becomes hard to let go of that restlessness and desire to know and seek the answers, remember the little child you once were and remember how things fell into place without that knowing, without that seeking. Everything you need is in this present moment, if you can look at life with the eyes of a child.

SOULSPEAK WITH JUNO CRISTI (An Interview by Michael P. Burke)

Like many the world over, I have been deeply enriched by Juno’s writings, poems and interviews on Soulspeak. As the list of incredible interviewees grows, it occurred to me that someone very important was missing… Juno herself.

I was so privileged to be interviewed by Juno, and now I am twice blessed and honored that she has accepted my request to interview her, someone who has brought so much joy to us her friends and readers. – Michael P Burke (Author & Video Blogger)

WHAT MOVED YOU TO CREATE SOULSPEAK?
Some time around 2010 I started writing. It started out with just very brief expressions in Twitter that later on turned into poetry, and from poetry I ventured into Essays and Short Stories. I wrote for a little more that a year and a lot based on experience. Around mid 2011 I woke up with this restless feeling this toxic feeling, it suffocated me, like I've built these invisible walls that kept me from growing - I was tired of writing about just myself. I wanted to expand my work.

I began seeking out other people to share their life experiences with me. I figured, I have the audience and so why not use this as a platform for others to shine too. Plus I'm tired of what I was seeing in TV and the papers... I'm tired of hearing questions that obviously only benefit one person or entity. I'd love to hear people talk about themselves in a deeper more personal level and not be ashamed of it.

I haven't seen a show or a news item that constantly asks to people the question "What is Love?" It's funny, because as human beings we know the answers to questions such as "What is success?" or "What is failure?" or "Who is Abraham Lincoln?" "Who is Shakespeare?" "Who is Confucius?" but not really a lot of people can ask themselves "Who Am I?" ...."What am I most grateful for?"  So having thought of this I realized that we're not here to find just the answers, we're here to find the questions too. Questions that will lead us to discovering who we are and what we came here for because we all have a vision, a passion, a purpose and a mission.

I could say that part of it too was because I've always been a traveler, and even if I don't have the resources to roam the earth right now and connect with more people, I feel that with Soulspeak I am able to do the same, I travel in spirit. It's true what they say, it's not about your net worth, it's about your network.

To be honest , Soulspeak is more for me and my learning and discovery of the world...  than for anyone else, really. I've been so conditioned for the past 30 years of my life... I am hungry for the truth, for what's real, for that inspiration. It just so happens that almost every reader of mine  is hungry for the same things.

I'm happy that people have started embracing Soulspeak and somehow made it a part of their lives.  I want to dedicate my life feeding people with soulfood, and in turn I feed myself...  I intend to keep it this way as long as I have the strength and the capacity to do it.  We all have a voice and our own unique and special message to share. This whole time period has presented us with all the technology and all the means to do this-- to create , to explore different channels more than we ever had and share the energy of love with one another.  This is the dream that moved me to create Soulspeak. Hopefully more people follow suit.

WHEN DID YOU FIRST DISCOVER YOUR LOVE FOR WRITING?
It's funny because I know I had it back when I was very young. I was a very shy young girl and I found that when I wanted to express something I could do it better through letters or notes. I would make terrible mistakes and instead of talking to my mom face to face I would leave her a note and that seemed to work fine. I also loved writing feedback to magazines and I found that they were published among a slew of readers.
I always had it. Even in college I had it I was writing poetry and stuff - I just forgot about it when I started to join   the corporate world - I was in it for 11 years and only when I got into my silence did I find my deep connection with the gift that flows through me.

So yes. I always had it but I discovered its essence and meaning in my life in silence and solitude.

IF YOU COULD INTERVIEW ANY THREE INDIVIDUALS, ONE FROM THE DISTANT PAST, ONE ALIVE TODAY AND ONE IN THE DISTANT FUTURE…WHO WOULD THEY BE, WHY AND WHAT WOULD BE YOUR OPENING QUESTION FOR EACH OF THEM?
I'd interview Adolf Hitler. I'd ask him what is love.
I'd interview the artist formerly known as Prince. I'd ask him what is love.
In the future, hmm... I'd probably interview my daughter when she turns 30 and ask her the same thing. What is love.

IF YOU COULD GRANT ANY THREE WISHES OR GIFTS TO YOUR DAUGHTER, WHAT WOULD THEY BE?
I'd love to give her a home to live in. A garden, some animals to play with. Since I left my job and gave up the house in 2010 we've been sort of like nomads, moving from one place to another living with people with our  2 suitcases. I'm very thankful for all who have accommodated us.

I'd love to give her a place she can call home. Anywhere she can feel safe and free to be whoever she wants to be....

Second is laughter. Anywhere, anyday, may the gift of laughter surround her. I hope she will always have a reason to laugh. I love it when I hear her laugh. When she laughs I heal, she heals, we all heal with laughter.

Third is happiness... It's such a broad and vague thing and  I'm aware that I can't really just pick something and give her that and expect that would bring her happiness. Only she can find that out for herself. So in whatever she decides to do or wherever she decides to go...  I only wish her happiness.

WHAT DOES LOVE MEAN TO YOU?
Love...it's not just a word...its my world and when I say world, its a kind of indescribable in magnitude. The univeverse blooms eternal in my heart. Thats how love works through me, I guess. Love is accepting everything as a part of me. Love is unconditional. Love is Oneness. Love excludes no one.

IN ADDITION TO WRITING, WHAT ARE YOUR PASSIONS?
I love to cook..other than that, spending time w/ daughter... Kaya is my big passion.

WHAT HAS YOUR PERSONAL JOURNEY BEEN LIKE SO FAR?
Oh wow... it's been incredible so far... back in 2010 I didn't think I would come up with the inspiration to write a single poem , a year after that  I found myself writing hundreds of poems and posting them online. And this year, just a few months ago I was just envisioning a book and releasing it in the US and didn't even know how on earth that will happen and here I am promoting that book to my audience... There's a lot of pain and suffering that came along with that dream but it was all worth it. I realized that my recent illness was a gift. I feel healthier now, after having let go of so much toxins in my system. Having to deal with pains daily, I feel more...fearless. At some point this year I was already about to give up on that dream and something in me just kept going, and I'm glad I listened to that part of me that said GO... just GO don't stop and seize the day. It's a very challenging time, 2012. It's been a crazy year, but a very powerful year of manifestation. So I really have to remind myself to stay positive... I can't wait to see what's next for me and for all of us.

WHAT MAKES YOU LAUGH THE HARDEST?
A lot. The silliest things make me laugh. Silly words and sounds. Silly faces.
My daughter gives me chuckles...  she's got this silly reggae dance that drives me wild.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST FEAR?
Abandonment. I'm constantly working on this one...

OTHER THAN PEOPLE, WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT OUR HOME PLANET OCEAN?
The dawn, the morning dew, the quiet and still moment... the fact that the sun rises every morning for us. The fact that we can look forward to a new day. That's my favorite thing.

TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR  BOOK?
The book is entitled "Drops of Petals"... I've been writing poetry since late 2010... I was carrying a lot of burdens and repressed emotions back then and found that poetry helped me release my fears and pains in a healthy way, and as I healed myself I learned that people who read my poems were healing from them too. So I kept doing it until I had written close to 300 poems... I picked the ones that spoke to my heart most and decided to put them in a book. I'm very proud of this book. It really means a lot to me and I know it means a lot to those who are following my posts. I didn't stop writing since 2010...I'm still healing as I write these words.

The idea for the name came from that too. I see myself as a flower...  and I need to always remember that if I open my heart I bloom...and  even when a flower is broken that flower is still beautiful … Writing is my way of  reminding myself of this beautiful truth and all my poems, are drops of petals… from the same flower… from the same soul.  And everything I  thought of as pain were really just there to heal me, and the world at large.  I am a flower,  we are all flowers… we are LOVE and this love is a gift placed on our hands, to heal others and be healed by it.

I hope you can get a chance to read this book in its entirety. It is out now on Amazon USA, Amazon Europe (Paperback). The kindle edition is available too.

WHAT IS YOUR MESSAGE FOR HUMANITY?
When in doubt, choose love.

Listen to your heart and be guided by this wisdom. Don't ever give up on life. Life is a miracle. Love is a gift. Learning is a reward.

Open your eyes and ears. Everything is a lesson.

You are never too young or too old to dream.

Whatever happens, no matter what the odds are, give yourself a chance to live your dreams.

Flow Like Water

We can let ourselves be shaped like a rock or wood, or we can flow like water and travel along with the tides to distant seas.

SOULSPEAK WITH NATHANIEL SOLACE a.k.a. MAHANOMI (Author, Video Blogger, Health Consultant)

"Through all this learning, I have MUCH to share! I created Mahanomi as a “medicinal media mission”. People’s lives can change from one simple inspiring video. I have seen it happen to hundreds of people. Mahanomi is my journey of self-gnosis and self-expression. A chance for people to actually get something beneficial from their addiction to the internet."

NATHANIEL SOLACE
Venice , CA

One of my favorite people on Youtube today. Nathaniel is an Educator, Youtuber, Author, Health Consultant... Born to empower people and make this place a better place to live in. He has inspired hundreds on Youtube and continues to flourish in the world of Social Media. I consider him the darling of Facebook! Experience the energy and passion of this amazing soul today, Mahanomi... today on Soulspeak!

WHO IS NATHANIEL?
Hmmm. I am a grateful, linguistically sensitive Human, in male form, and absolutely delighted to be doing this interview with you! Let's see... I come from the lineage of Serapis Bey/Thoth, I have enjoyed over 360 lifetimes on planet earth already! This time around I was adopted into an amazing multi-cultural family, with a Korean Sister, Jewish Mother, Celtic Father and Pleiadian Brother. I have always been passionate about entertainment, and being reliable for intriguing experiences. When I was young I wanted to be a magician, or singer, or conductor of an orchestra!

Now I am committed to being the best me I can be, and sharing my experiences along the way. I have a passion for Media, Healing, Conscious Language, Science, Mythology and lots of other trippy sh*t.

TELL ME ABOUT THE BIRTH OF MAHANOMI.
I started my relationship with YouTube in 2006 when I started literally ditching school, to come home and teach myself what I was actually interested in. (Physics, Spirituality, Permaculture, Health, etc.) I realized it was a potent opportunity to truly learn what was important to me. I have watched over 5,000 Hours of documentaries, lectures, workshops and educational videos.

Through all this learning, I have MUCH to share! I created Mahanomi as a “medicinal media mission”. People’s lives can change from one simple inspiring video. I have seen it happen to hundreds of people. Mahanomi is my journey of self-gnosis and self-expression. A chance for people to actually get something beneficial from their addiction to the internet.

YOUR MOST MEMORABLE FEEDBACK OR TESTIMONIAL FROM A SUBSCRIBER?
Wow, in all honesty I get at least one message a week from someone saying I have either changed their life, saved their life or at least demanding that I never stop making videos. It makes me cry tears of joy and is honestly the greatest fuel in my life. The most memorable though might be one of my first. Someone messaged me saying that it was the 1 month anniversary from the first time they had watched my video. They had lost 30lbs since and was totally stoked on life. They made sure to let me know that I had successfully changed someone's life for the better. I knew in that moment I could die happy.

WHAT OTHER PASSIONS ENRICH YOUR SPIRIT?
Music! Before I am a video guy, researcher, author, or teacher, i am a musician! I LOVE singing, playing guitar, drums and writing music! I am very excited to be locking myself into a recording studio soon! I also get quite a kick out of doing very deep spiritual work. Working with St. Germain, Serapis Bey and activating the Gaia Grid fully! I love learning! I am passionate about conversations, I love to hear peoples perspectives and to build my own personal frequency with the energy of others and their knowledge.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM YOURSELF LATELY? WHAT HAVE YOU UNLEARNED?
Lately, I have learned that I will only be as evolved as I am willing to be. In choose to be fully embodied I have had to un-learn many things. One thing I have unlearned lately is the concept of belief. The moment you believe something, you end your search. Who are you to say it doesn't go deeper. In meditation for instance, I will get to a pleasant state, and believe it to be a satisfying place to dwell in. Upon dropping that belief I can go even deeper! and it gets even better!

IF THERE'S ONE THING YOU CAN CHANGE IN THIS WORLD, WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE?
Well technically I am doing it. I am changing the way I approach the world everyday. Also changing the way I respond to it. So in essence changing my relationship to the world to one that is full of acceptance, healthy attachment, and open-ness to all.

YOU BIGGEST LIFE MOTIVATION.
The fact that I am alive. I am here. I have no idea what it means to be here. Sure I have plenty of thoughts about it. And plenty of feelings about it. But strip all those away, and I am just here. So from this vantage point, I CHOOSE to be fully motivated, every day. To stay in my center and embody benevolence. Might as well right?

WHAT IS LOVE?
Love… is a word. (laughs). I don't know how to answer that question. We have so many words for so many things. I think the best answer I could give would be to invite the readers, to stop RIGHT NOW. Take 3 DEEP breathes, and think about all the things you love. FEEL those kisses, smells, temperatures, words, sounds.. . Mmmm.  Love FEELS so good!

TELL ME ABOUT THE MOST MEMORABLE VIDEO THAT YOU MADE.
Hmm, I have yet to do it yet I think.  Really just over the last 4 months I have barely made many videos. All of the 500+ videos i have made prior to that really all just mesh into one. I have truly made a quantum leap in my life and my most memorable videos have yet to come!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF NATHANIEL.
Every day is so different! Things that rarely change include: Qi Gong, Astarius Mantras, VitaMineralGreen Water, Singing, Listening to my favorite music non-stop, Violet Flame Activation, Developing my curriculum, stretching, talking in silly accents, playing guitar, Merkabah-Grid Work, nature walks, Herbal Elixirs, and Loving Everything fully!

DREAMS &ASPIRATIONS.
I am honestly living my dream, I am a conscious entrepreneur, I have my own business, I spread love and awareness everyday, and making a living doing so. I am raising money for powerful causes, I am perfectly healthy and surrounded by my favorite people always! My greatest aspiration is to just keep it up and invite more!

WHAT DOES 2012 LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
Well... all notions, projections and theories set aside, It is obvious that this year is very exciting and definitely an open invitation to big change!

YOU'RE FACE TO FACE WITH YOURSELF AS A YOUNG BOY... WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO YOU?
I would basically just start myJedi training earlier, knowing now that I have been ready for it my whole life. If I met myself as a 1st grader, I would start training myself to have perfect posture, to eat healthy, use conscious language, learn about thought patterns, etc. the whole gamut! Haha I mean compared to most, I started pretty early (age 15). But to start at 7, that would just be awesome!

WHAT'S SOMETHING THAT NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT YOU THAT THEY PROBABLY SHOULD?
That I am actually really deep in my spirituality, I have a lot of rituals, ceremonial tendencies and I practice magic. I do a lot of dream work/play, that is my main realm!

WHAT ARE YOU MOST GRATEFUL FOR?
People. We are SO beautiful, I am reminded of gratitude the most when I see someone I find beautiful, it is absolutely astonishing!

YOUR ONE MESSAGE TO THE WORLD.

LET GO OF STUFF THAT EATS UP SPACE & ENERGY

Take some time to let go of belongings you no longer need. Stuff that accumulates do not only eat up space, they eat up your energy too (when you clean or worry about storage space). Have the courage to let go and find peace in having more breathing space and in knowing that the stuff that no longer serve you can be recycled, or re-used by others in need.

In fact, simply void of diets!  Just healthy and glowing... Confident and happy.  I invite you to connect with Jon Gabriel and his wonderful invigorating energy today on Soulspeak.

WHO IS JON GABRIEL?
I'd love to see who John Gabriel is , I just know that Jon Gabriel comes through me. He is whoever is speaking at this moment  That's a message that I have for the world-- that our bodies are incredibly intelligent and sentient beings. They're solid consciousness. To me, consciousness exists in 3 different states the same way that water can exist as ice or liquid or a gas. Consciousness can exist as solid or liquid gas. So consciousness as gas is our mind and our thoughts. Liquid consciousness is our emotions and solid consciousness is our physical bodies. All we are is different phases of consciousness. Our body is literally solid consciousness.  We can communicate with that consciousness.

The traditional paradigm of health, especially of weight loss is that our bodies are not conscious. Our bodies are machines. -- We can take out a part or repair a radiator to put in less or more electricity and so forth and get a desired outcome but in reality that is not the case. The case is that we are enormously complex, sentient consciousness that when you learn to communicate with that consciousness you learn how to get your body to have unlimited incredible health vitality and fitness.  I know this from my own experience of having lost 220 lbs (100 kilos) over 8 years ago without dieting, without surgery, without willpower or brute force,  without what I would even consider discipline but simply by getting my body and mind to communicate properly and getting my body to actually work with me to actually want to be thin and healthy. It's been 8 years now and I never had to think about the issue at all. My body just knows what it needs to do. It just wants to be healthy and it continues to search out more and more health.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE TURNING POINT.
Well, I have been dieting for 10 years and the whole time I was dieting I was gaining weight. Maybe I'd lose 10 lbs, and gain 20 lbs over and over again until I gained over 200 lbs. I tried everything. I worked face to face with the late Dr. Atkins and the end all he could do was yell at me for being so fat. I went to the Pritikin Institute, I had fitness trainers, I had naturopaths and used herb medicines, had acupuncture and traditional medicine and it would always follow the same pattern: I lose all the weight, I gain all the weight. I finally got to a place where I decided I was never gonna diet again and rather than diet I was going to try to understand what my body wanted me fat in the first place, and that's when everything changed, where my focus changed from trying to force myself to lose weight to understanding what my body was the way it was. I went on a quest in every different direction. I studied Biochemistry, Neurobiology, Stress Management, Consciousness, Meditation, Thought Field Therapy, the relationship between the mind and body, and also how to nourish my body better. Slowly, by making the focus about what my body needs, why it needs fat, and how to get it to no longer have that need and to satisfy it some other way, I then started to lose weight.

The hard part was really that point when I was on my knees, in desperation and saying "I give up. I'm never gonna diet again. I'm not gonna go down this road ever again" This road of willpower and forcing my body and good days and bad days...It's like your whole life is a battle against what your body wants you to eat and what you're trying to eat. I let all that go. I stopped having good days and bad days. I ate what I wanted but I kept the focus on understanding why my body wanted to be fat. That was a huge paradigm shift for me and once that happened the weight went down automatically.

THAT'S WONDERFUL. WHEN YOU GOT DOWN TO YOUR DESIRED WEIGHT, HOW WAS THE MAINTENANCE LIKE? HOW DID YOU KEEP YOURSELF DISCIPLINED AND KEEP WEIGHT OFF FOR A PROLONGED PERIOD?
It's a very organic process. I wouldn't consider it a discipline at all. The reason why you gain your weight back on a diet is because you haven't addressed the real issue, and the real issue is a very subtle thing. Real issues could be physical, mental or emotional. For many people it's emotional. There are some of us (and I had this) who have an emotional need to have weight, not to eat but to have weight on our body to feel safe. Weight is all about safety. When you understand that you have to ask yourself : "In what way does my body feel safer having the weight?" and it could be because you're not nourishing your body properly so you're in a kind of famine or it could be because you're chronically dieting, and when you diet you artificially induce a famine and the whole reason we have weight is to protect us against famine. Because you've artificially induced the famine you're gonna get your body to want to hold on to the weight to protect you against famine so you end up going to war with your body, and then it's always a struggle.

So, you talk about things like maintenance and discipline and struggle. That's an old paradigm that doesn't work. If you keep the focus on "Why does my body need the weight as a form of safety?" : Is it an emotional tool? Is it a mental tool? Is it a chemical or physical tool? Is it because I'm taking medication or artificial ingredients or my digestion is wrong or I may have sleep apnea or I'm dehydrated or I've got this emotional need for it? Do I need energetic grounding or do I have too much stress and the stress is elevating my fat program chemicals? -- What is the real reason that your body is using weight? You've got to address that and when you do there is no maintenance. There's no 'program'... You've solved the issue. You've got to get to the core issue and the core issue is always about safety. Your body uses weight as a form of safety. If your body doesn't feel like it needs the protection anymore the weight falls off. No maintenance, no schedule, no discipline. You become once again a naturally thin person. You eat what you want. You don't eat too much because you're not that hungry , because your body doesn't want the weight anymore. My focus is all about how to solve the problem.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM YOURSELF FROM THIS EXPERIENCE?
I've learned to surrender to this energy that we all have access to and to be still, and to allow that to work through me, and to not think so much. I don't plan my life anymore I just allow this energy to come through me, I connect with it and that's how I live my life. So rather than living my life in terms of my head and trying to control everything  with my mouth, trying to control people in my life, trying to protect me from things I can't be protected from, I connect rather with a much greater source of energy that's everywhere... and I allow that to work through me. I've learned to just let go.

WHAT HAVE YOU UNLEARNED LATELY?
That you do not need to control your life. I've just let go of control. Everything you have is inside you. I've unlearned the need to get out and get what it is I need or what I think is right for me or for the rest of the world. I've become a willing participant and spectator to the experience that's happening through me.

WHAT OTHER PASSIONS ENRICH YOUR SPIRIT?
I love being physical now. I love being at the beach especially on days like now, when it's 30 degrees. We have such beautiful beaches. I love the feeling of being physical. Having a dip in the ocean, or a feel of that cold water on me and moving my muscles... I love that feeling. I love connecting with people in my life. I love being a father too. Those are big passions for me.

IF THERE'S ONE THING THAT YOU CAN INSTANTLY CHANGE ABOUT THIS WORLD, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Our understanding of how the world works. If we all changed our focus to understand that the solution to every challenge that we have is inside of us,  and can come through us and we looked inside we would have a massive shift in consciousness in this planet that would change us forever. There would be no more blame, no more wars, no more greed, no more fear, no more fighting and no more conflict. There'd be no more  limitations. We would all know that everything we need is inside us and we only need to connect with it and we would have that instant shift in consciousness. All that comes with some education and some understanding of how the world really works, and where creativity and abundance really comes from.

DO YOU HAVE ANY REGRETS?
No... I have zero regrets. I've made horrible mistakes in my life but I have no regrets.  Everything that I have done brought me to this place and moment, and I'm standing here and talking to you and I'm feeling tremendous energy coming through me, so I have no regrets.

WHAT IS LOVE?
Love is who you really are. It's your true essence. It's what we're all looking for but that's what we really are.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
My understanding of the world, which is probably different from the general understanding is that we're different phases of consciousness. And we don't see this consciousness - just like fish don't know that they're in water, we don't know that we're in an ocean of consciousness. One drop of this ocean is more energy and passion and motivation that you can ever need in 20 lifetimes, just one drop. And we are in this ocean. This ocean of energy comes through these energy channels that we have in our bodies.

I have a meditation that I do in the morning to open up my energy channels. Once my energy channels are open, I let this energy run through me and I connect with it. Once it starts running through me then I don't have to worry about motivation or passion. We have passion. The essence of passion is this energy running through you and creating in the world. I let it go create and move where it wants to go.

I feel tremendously inspired...Literally inspired, because inspired means "in-spirit" ... It's means spirit coming in to you. Spirit or consciousness is coming into me in a very mechanical way, and coming through me so I feel inspired. Then I watch what's happening in the world, do movies like "Hungry for Change" and other documentaries we're working on with some incredibly great people, the seminars that we're doing, the books that we're putting out, the courses that we're putting out, the way we connect with people, our support group, the contact that I'm having with people. It's all coming from this connection and that motivates me, that inspires me, that excites me like I can't possibly imagine like when I meet somebody and they tell me they've lost 200 lbs.

I met a lady in  at a TV show in Brisbane last week (Channel 9). One of the ladies that lost weight at The Gabriel Method was there giving her story. She looks totally fit. She lost all her weight. She looked like she's about 42. She could be a fitness trainer. It turns out  that not only is she a grandmother, she has 11 kids too.  I've got one daughter who's absolutely gorgeous - I know how much effort it can be and she's got 11 kids! And in the process of raising all her kids she lost 100 lbs, she's gotten tremendous energy! She's got the energy to go camping again...Se's telling her story to the world...  I'm listening to this and I was just feeling awe. I'm humbled by this experience, knowing that in some way I've contributed to this incredible turnaround. When I hear stories like that I just feel tremendously energized and inspired.

YOUR DREAMS & ASPIRATIONS AT THIS POINT
I have a vision in the morning when I do my meditation where I imagine this energy coming through me and then spreading out all over the world. As I imagine this, in a sense, it's me "connecting". -- with you in Manila, with the Intuitive Warrior Seminar I'm doing in Los Angeles, with the show I'm doing next week. It's me connecting with that energy that comes through me and that energy is the seed of transformation throughout the world. My vision is that growing. It's getting bigger and brighter, helping to change the world in a positive way, all over the world, millions of people in every country. From a day to day standpoint it's just a matter of living it and watching how it unfolds.

WHAT DOES THE REST OF 2012 LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
This year is really busy. I'm going to Los Angeles to do a seminar and then to New York to do a couple shows and then back to San Diego to start filming for a movie that we're making. It's a documentary. Then I'm coming back to do my 3 day retreat in Kiama, New South Wales. It's the highlight of the year to me when I spend 3 days with a few hundred people and we go really really deep in our visualizations, our meditations, learning how to nourish our bodies, transform our lives and our bodies. It's a really exciting experience. I have that and then I'm going to spend the Summer in Asia. I'm working with a very high profile person that I'm training. We're going to spend a couple of months together. At the end of the year we're going to start doing our online courses again. There's going to be a lot of traveling over the next 6 months and a lot of communicating. The last online course we did which I'm going to start doing again on September had 800 people in 60 countries. We're all working together at the same time. It's a very powerful experience. And the rest of the year... We'll see what happens.

YOU ARE FACE TO FACE WITH YOURSELF AS AN 8 YEAR OLD CHILD, WHAT WOULD YOU TELL YOU?
Life is an adventure. Everything is happening in your life at some level as something that you have chosen, wanted to have and are having because someday you will work through it and be much stronger, more powerful, more excited, and a happier being. Just enjoy the journey and know that that's exactly what it is -- It's an exciting journey.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOUR WORK ON THE MOVIE "HUNGRY FOR CHANGE".
I was contacted by the makers of that movie and they interviewed me in Sydney last year. We spent a day together. I guess they must have done that with 15 other people and they pieced together a  story. I think they did a brilliant job of piecing  the story because  many other people said so many similar things it's almost like we're in the same room together, agreeing with each other. I think that was really cool.

WHAT'S THE BIGGEST RISK YOU HAD TO TAKE LATELY?
It's hard to say because these days usually when I'm faced with a risk, I just surrender to it and have faith, but there was a time 10 years ago when I was faced with a really really big risk. I had to leave the life that I knew, I had to leave all the 'known', all my comfort zones, because it wasn't working for me. I did this in order to pursue my dream and follow my heart to living a much simpler life and a more beautiful place -- physically beautiful , in Nature. I left my life in New York. I was working as a successful financial person on Wall St. I left all of that.  I didn't know what I was going to do for the rest of  my life. I was 400 lbs. I had a baby on the way. I just had to take that chance that maybe I'd survive if I follow my heart. I started living a very simple life. I started getting rid of the stressors and the fears. I started doing a lot of visualization, praying and  a lot of studying. Transformed my body and in many other ways, transformed. That was the BIG risk that I had to take in my life. The rewards of that are still developing.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT BEING A FATHER?
I just love the connection. It's such a special relationship. There's no other relationship that's as pure as that, where all you want is someone else's happiness and nothing else. She's at an age now where we're able to communicate at the same level. We have similar humor. She can occupy herself with her projects. She says things that always amaze me. She has incredible insights. She hasn't gotten into that age yet where she becomes a teenager and doesn't want anything to do with her daddy. It's just a perfect sweet spot. To me there's nothing that compares to it.

YOUR MAJOR INFLUENCES, MENTORS & TEACHERS.
When I was in New York, I did a lot of meditation with an Indian guru named Paramahamsa Hariharananda. I also learned some Taoist work from a Vietnamese man who lived in Philadelphia. They were really big inspirations for me and taught me the foundations and tools that I needed to develop myself internally. As far as famous figures, Anthony Robbins is a huge influence.  I think Deepak Chopra is great. And I really like Dr. Christiane Northrup. She was also in "Hungry for Change". I think she's a really special person.

IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE RIGHT NOW WHERE WOULD YOU WANT TO GO?
I'm exactly where I want to be... There is nowhere else I could see myself going.

YOUR ONE MESSAGE TO THE WORLD.
Everything, absolutely everything that you need is inside of you. All you have to do is connect with it. The ability to transform your body, to transform your life, and be fearless, totally supported, totally loved, totally connected. And the more you go inside to connect with the source of all your wealth, fitness and abundance...the more you will see it in the outside world. So look inside to create what it is that you want outside.

WHAT IS TRUE WILL ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO REVEAL ITSELF TO YOU

There comes a point in our lives where we do our best to seek for true love and there comes a point too where we begin to rest from all the seeking , for what is true will always find a way to reveal itself to you.

POSITIVITY OPENS THAT DOOR FOR POSSIBILITIES!

For most of my life I didn't understand why I worry so much about what other people think of me... I often asked myself: Are they pleased with me or bothered by me? Did I say something wrong? Am I doing the right thing? When opinions or acknowledgment from others give you comfort like that it's hard to live really. You don't move on first and foremost. You stay in a standstill or go spiral into a swirly world and you don't grow. Probably why I always had episodes of anxiety feeling suffocated by the walls I built for myself. All these are  blockages from feeling unworthy of making my own decisions, leaving my own mark or simply taking risks, feeling I don't deserve my dream... I always used say "NO" to my own thoughts until someone else agrees and approves of it only then will I say "YES"... Recently a friend of mine asked if I wished to be interviewed and at first thing I said to myself was "Nah, I'm not ready for that..." and then another voice in me said "Go for it, if it doesn't work at least you know it's not meant for you. No regrets, only lessons!" So I said yes to him and when I did , a day after I received two interview requests. Amazing how many doors open for you if you simply seize the day.  The key is that "YES"... POSITIVITY opens up that door for POSSIBILITIES !
